Last Thursday's individual A grade stableford event was taken out by Chris Warry with a nicely compiled 40pts that left him 1 shot clear of Sel Coles and Phil Thompson, the scratch went to Darrell Bourke (31).

Reg Rivett recaptured a bit of that old magic to record 42pts to win B grade from Max Culkin (41) and Ben Brownjohn (37) while Craig Windus picked up the scratch with 19pts.

Barry Mawhood and Rivett combined in the 2BBB aggregate for a fine 75pts to win on a countback over Chris Warry and Dean Fidirikkos. The pairing of Darren Bruce and Kevin Miller were the scratch champions with 52pts.

Mick Locke tamed a fast golf course on Saturday to take the A grade honours with 38pts leaving Tony Pryce and Kerry Stait to fill the minor placings (37pts) while the scratch went to Paul Bright on 33pts.

Darren Reitsma was the premier golfer in B grade after a solid round of 39pts which saw him win from Geoff Purcell and Sauro Gregori who both had 38 and 37pts respectively. Dave Rogers used his vast course knowledge to pick up the scratch (22pts).

Tony Farr reentered the winners circle to take the C grade honours with 39pts by a shot from the duo of Neil Adams and Neil Cole, 19pts was enough for Jim Johnston to win the scratch.

Gary Taylor streeted the field on Sunday with a marvelous score of 41pts which left Darrell Bourke a distant second with 35pts. Brad Glawson signed for the scratch on 22pts.

Friday night's members draw is $400 with our new raffle format proving popular, remember if you buy a ticket in the raffles you have a chance to win $100.00 if your number comes up!

Membership Renewals

Please be aware that membership payments are to be finalized by Friday the 30th of July or your membership will be suspended. As of the 2nd of August please have your new membership cards ready to be presented when utilizing the Pro-Shop or the bar to help staff in the identification of financial members.

Front of Club Beautification

Management and the Board of Director's of the Bathurst Golf Club would like to thank all the volunteers who have helped with the ongoing beautification to the front of the Club under the expert guidance of Peter Varman. The next scheduled working bee is for Sunday 25th July from 9am to midday.

Concession Playing Members

After a number of enquiries the Club would like to clarify to be eligible for this category of membership you must be in receipt of a 'full disability pension or full age pension'. This is stated in the Club's articles of Association and must be supported by the appropriate documentation on joining.

Pantano's Cuisine/ Fathers Day

Father's Day on the 5th September will see Pantano's hosting a Seafood lunch from 12-2pm consisting of 3 beautiful courses, more details shortly.

Open for lunch and dinner Wednesday – Sunday.

Frank can cater for functions from finger food through to weddings and will have his menu options on our web-site in the near future.
