A titanic tussle saw Max Cole take the top honours in Saturday's individual stableford event after his "Kel Nagle" classics kept Greg Kelly and Geoff Moase at bay after all three players had 39pts. Darren Smith kept his good run of form going to grab the scratch prize on 33pts.

Owen Moss made it an astonishing 3 weeks in a row as he again headed the B grade field after compiling 40pts for a shot victory over Ray Pepper, Neville Jones rounded out third (37) and the scratch went to John Perfect (24).

Jacob Westerhuis was able to hold off the challenge of Josh Miller to claim the top C grade honours on a countback (40), Chris Reeves picked up his first trophy since returning to the Club after finishing third (39) while the scratch went to Kev Delaney with 19pts.

In a fine performance that should inspire all our left handed golfers for the upcoming Lefties v's Righties challenge on the 10th of March, Club patron Tony Pryce fired a magnificent 42pts to win last Thursday's A grade event by 1 shot over Al Lamb & Dennis Lowe. A round of even par saw Darren Smith crowned the scratch winner.

In a low scoring affair Bob Ward proved triumphant in B grade after returning 38pts, the duo of David Haley and Tim Leahey were a shot further back. 12pts was enough for Bruce Amery to win the scratch.

Lamb combined with Richard Ellis to post 75pts in the 2BBB aggregate for a 1 shot margin over Pryce and Matt Winwood-Smith. 60pts enabled Darryn Bruce and Darrell Bourke to hoist the scratch trophy aloft.

The annual Legacy Golf Day once again proved a resounding success with a field of 120 players enjoying the conditions. The quartet of Di and Jim Johnston, Adrian Haynes and John O'Shea were the standout performers in the ambrose event returning a score of 53 1/8 to hold off second place getters Paul Abbott, Matt Irvin, Darren Hamilton and J Curran (55 3/8).

The best scratch score of the day went to Adam Webber, John Rogers, Geoff Cooke and M McManus (63).

Jono's Eighteen restaurant will have a new menu commencing on Friday 2nd of March, why not give it a try?

Friday night's members draw is $1000.00.

As of 1st of March Jono's Eighteen will have a seafood theme each Thursday night.
